    Alice,
I am looking at $24 minus for the bottom. I hope you got in on the action. It is going to get uglier for HD.

    GD:had another up day today.

JOYG: very ugly chart, too. Shorter's paradise.

What are your thoughts on PSUN. I think it is acting very bearish and is a good short play. Chart would help.

      Thanks

I have never dealt with options because of my ignorance. Any suggestions. I shorted HD at 34.23. What are my OPTIONS?

        Thanks

Since you are inexperienced, I think you'd best visit this site to consider your options. I won't recommend any to you because a person who has not studied options can get himself into trouble quickly. So visit this site and do a lot of reading. http://www.optionsxpress.com/educate/

              Mr. Peabody's Coal Train

Looking at the BTU chart, and it seems that Mr. Peabody's Coal Train is all set to leave the station for destinations SOUTH. Yup. Reports earnings on Thursday, and the chart has settled dead on support, forming a very bearish looking descending triangle. Of course, that triangle means nothing until the base line support is busted, but it looks for all the world that she is going to bust. PnF likes BTU to dive down to $42; Dow Theory says "don't kid yourself: $26." Whatever. I sold the calls and bought puts today.

              Don't believe me? Look for yourself . . . . .

                Hot Tip

Well, BTU (Peabody Coal) reports on Thursday. ACI, (Arch Coal), reports on Friday. Whatever happens to Peabody will carry over onto ACI. Chart says that both will fall down. ACI is the weak sister of the two. Now you could watch the BTU news tomorrow and have a head start on ACI on Friday.

                        Jimmy Eugene Speaks again

IIC's favorite stock (that's pure sarcasm there, folks) TZOO is called a "train wreck" by none other than Jimmy Eugene.

Cramer's 'Mad Money Lightning Round': Oracle OK

Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Tuesday evening:

Travelzoo: "I say ... stay away from the ... train wreck."

"Rentech goes to 6. In Wall Street parlance, I'm raising my price target right here, right now."

National Beverage: "I want to swap out of ... and ... go into Pepsi and Coke, which are in major bull market mode."

EnCana: "If natural gas doesn't start heading up, EnCana is going to 43. I would ring the register and not wait for that happen."

Oracle: "This is one of the names that is actually in bull mode on the Nasdaq. ... You can stick with it."

Wal-Mart: "You saw that big downgrade today of the whole [retail] group." Cramer said you're better off in Target here.

Halliburton: "The bears have this stock ... in their paws. ... I'm not backing away from my charitable trust. ... But understand the forecast is still pain."

Massey Energy: "If you want to own coal, you have to own BTU (Peabody Energy). I cannot bless Massey."

"Nortel is a complete waste of time. Let me lump in Lucent. There's nothing there. ... Maybe a short-term tech rally that starts with Intel after reports. Be careful, Yahoo! just stunk up the joint."

Thanks for your kind words, Grandkids are great some of them fighting over who gets to cut the lawn. Your tip on BTU Is good was thinking of buying some now I'll stay away. As for shorting can not do It as I am working with IRA accounts. Also I do not like the Idea of shorting, so when you have a lead on a stock that you feel Is going up let me In on It.

Has anyone ever looked at PCP. It is looking interesting as a long to me, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to share their views of PCP with me.

                                Peanuts,
Not so sure I like it long here. PCP has a high pole warning on the PnF, and those things almost never, ever fail to warn of lower prices.

Chartwise, you have very strong support at $50. IF that $50 support fails, lookout below.

To sum up, we have some support at $54.00, and solid support at $50, but not much beneath until $39. Overhead, you have resistance at $55 and $60. Also you need to consider that stocks most often make a run to expiration, and Monday, they drop hard. We are currently running to the expiration Friday. So a long here is not what I would take.
