          Friday's score....

A very good week fellas!!!! The BULL is back.... and Lyehopper is back in the saddle.lol

Pete's short play wins the contest in impressive fashion! I'll be interested to see if he plays the same strategy next week. wtg PETE!!!! You are HUUUUGE!!!! DUDE!!!!

How about Photon? WOW! he sneaks up and snatches the silver with LUFK. I own this stock and I must say I beleive it's a winner. Great play Photon!

Karel takes the bronze with CMCO. Karel is proving that a buy and hold strategy of a great stock really pays off. Good pick (AGAIN) Karel! Might as well play it again next week huh?

I own 4 of the stocks played this week. ECOL, PARL, LUFK, AMLN....

The group as a whole gained an impressive 3.75%! You fellas are HUUUGE!!!!

            Wow

What can I say? I made 2.49% on a short in a bull week, and still finished 14th out of 20, and even got beat out by a nun whose byline says, "Don't follow me; I don't know anything." Time to quit? Perhaps I should capture her byline for my own.

Congrats to the 13 who finished ahead of me. Looking forward to next week's play . . . and I haven't got a clue what I'll do next!

That's OK NB, I get the knucklehead award. If I'd stuck with my original pick, MDR, Creme of the Crop leader, I'd have secured the bronze. Ah well, still green with shorts this week makes us a huge midget lol

Congrats to the winners, commiserations to the losers. Next!

I'm torn between PETS which I bought last week, ELN which I bought Friday, and HOM which I think is getting ready to setup for another move up. I was somewhat disappointed with PETS and ELN on Friday. Thought both were going off but the market pushed them both back down late in the day after nice intraday runs up.

Pete: amazing result! Double digits! And Photon, I thought the 2nd place was secure, but forgot to look over my shoulder! Or were you in front already? And Lye, PARL was a nice pick!

According to my system, holding this kind of stock will pay off over time, but in my own portfolio I am still in the red with CMCO. But after such a week it can't have fallen of the screen, and it didn't, so CMCO stays in. In my own port and in the POTW. But if you want to know whether the POTW beat my mechanical fund, you'll have to look up that thread! But I am starting to think you really need that H factor, and not just any old H factor too!

                                Regards,

                                Karel
