I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. BillyJoe McCallister lives up to the name of his stock pick today as he nonchalantly takes a look at the rest of the board and says, "I pass" to the head of the class.
Johnny JBlaze Storm's MAMA gapped up 8.29% this morning, momentarily putting his short position into the negative gain category. But MAMA's euphoria was short-lived as she proceeded to sink, and sink, and sink back to the point where Blaze is still up better than 5%.
Speed Racer so far is placing third in this week's tournament ... BUT ... with a 4.29% increase from yesterday's net gain, he picked up more ground today than anyone else in the race.
The Incomparable Uphill Racer is up to his old tricks again as he ignites those afterburners, gaining an additional mind-bending 6.73% today alone!
(Singing ...) MAMA's little Jblaze like short-in', short-in', MAMA's little Jblaze likes short-in for bread. Ho hum, yawwwnnnn .... another 3.71%!
BillyJoe McCallister asked himself, "Should I hold onto IPAS?", thought about it for a spell and said, "I pass." So with a tasty 6.44% gain, Billy bails.
Pete's doin' mighty fine with SNP, a stock that I told Lyehopper to buy about five years ago when it was around $15.
And by George, look at ol' Websman with his 4.34% gain on a stock that he hated a couple days ago. I don't know about the living long bit, but he's surely prospering this week.
JBlaze closes out the year in a BLAZE of glory, as he adds another 8.77% to his weekly total to wind up with a supernova-sized 17.54%!!!!
BillyJoe finishes out the year in passive-aggressive style as he regains 2nd place by doing absolutely nothing!!!
Dancin' Pete Hansen puts on his best two-tone Gene Kelly pumps, pirouettes and taps his way into the bronze position with a 6.06% gain on the Chinese petroleum company, SNP!!
Well, I've had fun (mostly) being the scorekeeper. I'll post the full year spaghetti chart either later tonight or sometime this weekend.
And ... oh yeah ... by the way, mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the hugest of them all? The player with the highest average score for the whole year is .... [Drumroll please] .... ROB! How about that for hugeness, ladies and gentlemen?
p.s. Slight mix-up on the color chart at the bottom. Billy's score should be silver and Pete's the bronze ... and I'm too tired to fix it ... so you can just mentally switch the colors.
