I put bearish, but only near term. Pullback should come back down a bit more.

I selected Bearish, looking @ the weekly chart of the S&P I see us hitting the upper channel line. Now on the daily I see a set up for a possible bounce back up to the channel. I agree with DMK. I for one will wait and see where the wind blows!

Bearish short-term pullback, medium-term bullish for the year.

Hey Runner, I like polls like this one. Good job. We were doing this market bias poll a while back. Didn't it prove to be contrarian on the average, where the majority proved incorrect?

Spike, I plan on doing this more often. I’ll retool it a little. I’m even thinking it might be best to not allow replies as this may slant how the individual feels about the markets. They may read that you mention BEAR and click the bear button..lol

I’ll be more prepared for the next one. I’m mainly interested in the sentiment at the time of the poll and not the remainder of the year.

Spike, yes many times the majority was incorrect on the last polls. I’ll keep it going and who knows maybe more will click on the Bull or Bear..
I’m open to suggestions on how to make this better.

I wonder if the sentiment would change to Bear if I left the poll open for one more day!hehe

lol no doubt it would! heh Hard not to be bearish after INTC warned and the market drops like it just did.

On the poll, yep, I think it's a good idea to discourage posting. And having polls of short duration is good so you capture the moment. If possible, and if this becomes a regular thing again, an index chart with labels of the vote at each point in the chart would be cool.

You could run an intraday poll...that would be helpful to me..."What's the Market gonna do in the next 10 mins"???...That's what I want to know...Doug(IIC)

I’m thinking of using this format for the poll graph.
