Do you have a geographic license, as well?

Licenses of every type for every situation. And the most important license of all is the one the let's the bearer write up a new license to cover whatever you need whenever you need one to cover a predicament. They are expensive but obtainable. Doug is another owner off one of them aside from the many others he owns and has hanging on his office wall I'm sure.

The only thing that kills things faster than Chuck Norris is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan that just heard an insult to their team.

You obviously do not know the story of the Steelers. Honestly, I don't want to get into some kind of banter about it. Some people are passionate about their favorite teams, usually for several reasons. I think you would be amazed at the diversity and geographical coverage of the fan base for the Steelers program.

If you call their performance a fluke, you know nothing, and I mean zero, zilch, nada, of the Steelers. Any other reason for the statement you made is done simply to get under my skin. If that is the case, I don't much appreciate that fact, but if the former is true, then cheer all you want for whatever loser team you would like. I don't think the Steelers would want a fan like you, anyway.

Bradshaw was the best quarterback Pittsburgh ever had, by a long shot. I don't believe he was from that neck of the woods either. Hey, maybe you can salvage the year and root for the Eagles! I like Garcia..I think he's the best story of the year. Big Ben could learn alot from him.

Wasn't it obvious that I was referring to the Steelers? How can a team go from the super bowl to the toilet bowl in such record time? My explanation is that last year was a fluke, a hot streak at the right time, lousy competition, etc.

Tatnic, if he actually engaged his mind before his mouth, would have realized that the best quarterbacks of all time all came from the Pittsburgh area- (Unitas, Namath, Montana, Marino, Jim Kelly, and many more). Many more mediocre q'backs come from here, as well. It must be in the beer... because even the ones that aren't from here, but play here, are better than the rest of the league on their bad days. Of course, if they came from New Jersey, I'm not sure if we could ever fix them.

I was only kidding around with the selection of words. Actually I didn't realize that I was wrong with my spelling of climactic. I have to be real careful with you and Doug. You know how Peanuts loves to be lavished with affirmation. Perhaps I should have used "orgasmatic crescendo of affirmation". I really do like and respect Peanuts and I think his intentions and motives are always well meant. It's just me being me and how much I enjoy kidding around with Peanuts. I'm sure Peanuts is the type of individual that would stay up late at night to get the job done and to think of ways to make it better. And yes I will be sending the entire northeastern section of Pennsylvania a dose of good weather over the holiday season.

not that it matters, but P'burg is in the western part of PA....maybe you can send them a new quarterback?!

I'm such a poet that I don't even know it. I do know Peanuts will still do a great job continuing on in the tradition that you guys started and built on so nicely in the name of Billyjoe's POTW thread.

Keep the original thread and change the rules to anything that you want that's agreeable with the simple majority of players. The original thread has historic and intrinsic value built into it from the past several years of it's existence. It's evolution into it's present form and what it is going to become under Peanuts guidance will only be kept intact through maintaining Billyjoe's orginal POTW thread. It will still be Peanuts baby to nuture and shape to reflect his personality and if it is at all as successful as Lyehopper and Rob have brought it then we will shower Peanuts with praise in a climatic crescendo of affirmation.

My 2c. I agree with others on keeping the original thread....the history and content has value. I'm sure billyjoe is too much a gentleman to request it, peanuts...and I really don't think he should.
