    High Yield on Unsafe Stocks

I like having high yielding stocks in my IRA that are re-invested into more stock. CNE is currently yielding over 15% and pays monthly. That's the good news, bad news is that it's earning about 2%. The handwriting is on the wall. When they announce the div. has to be cut, the stock tanks and the free shares are worth less than the overall loss.

In compiling a list of approximately 150 stocks with a yield of 5.75% or higher, only 25 had earnings higher than the % dividend they pay out. One of these will be my replacement for CNE. They are ranked by safety with CBL seemingly the most stable.

    Stock-Yield
    CBL---5.8%
    BRT--13.09
    SPH--6.26
    EPR--5.75
    CORS-6.89
    FR---7.12
    O----5.75
    WM--6.10
    HT---6.99
    LTC--6.04
    HPT--7.41
    NNN--5.89
    WPC--5.91
    SNH--6.24
    CLI--6.15
    CT---8.68
    ADC--5.96
    ETP--6.07
    MDH--6.87
    PBT--11.03
    SPPR--6.68
    GTY--6.62
    HCN--6.29
    SFI--9.08
    FPO--6.36

Do further research before buying any of these. Most have ties to real estate and banking.
