FMCN Focus Media SWEEEEEET!
FMCN is a Chinese Media company which operates audiovisual displays in China , but trades on the NASDAQ ! Some VERRRRRRRY Interesting information.
1. FMCN closed 11/25/08 at $7.30 DOWN from a high of about $68.00 awhile back. I know, I know ...why would anyone want this piece of crap ....well hold on a minute.....here are some facts .....keep an open mind!
Vector Vest says the Stock Is UNDERVALUED and should be selling for $25.85, they also rate it a SELL ...but hear me out!
2. P/E is about 4 and Earnings Yield is 25.47
3. FMCN has an EPS (Earnings per Share) of $1.77 per share
4. Sales growth rate over the past 12 months is 109% per year !!
5. The business is valued at $4.00 and expects to earn $1.17 in 2009 , and trades at a 70% discount to book value
6. The stock shot down form $16 to $9 after quarterly profit missed analysts' expectations.
7. The company is buying back its own stock.....this is always a good sign. As of 11/10/08 the company has repurchased about 1.6 Million shares in the open market. The company now owns 11% of the stock. This shows confidence in the future of the company !
8. Their Flat Panel Advertising displays are all over in China , airports , shopping Malls, banks , pharmacies and basically ALL OVER!
Yes of course there is RISK ....but I think much of the risk has already been wrung out. I am buying this one ..........I REST MY CASE !
