Taking a good hard look at ATML; The Company designs and manufactures touch products, IE touch screens for smart phones and tablets. Unfortunately not apple but most android products. ROE: 52%; Profit Margin: 27% P/E less than 10.

I’ll keep a close eye on this and see if it wants to go up. I suspect it might go back down and test the recent lows. Depending on price action I might be a buyer under 9 with a tight stop. I also expect resistance in the $12 range so I’ll be looking for a quick 15-20% trade.

I will cut my losers. ( I know, I know, losses are for losers.) But I have been known to be wrong before (just ask my wife) and I don’t want to tie up capital while I wait for a stock to recover. No hard stops but I will keep an eye on my non performers.

Well, OK, I haven’t been doing this.

I’ve got TC that’s down over 40% and I’m still holding. I guess because it’s a local company and I know what’s going on with their mine expansion. I may start trading this one a little more actively to see if I can’t bring down my overall costs.

VECO & NANO: I let these two get away, not paying enough attention, summer time activities and all. Now on a short leash and will be kicked of the Island if they don’t behave.

ACAS: Here’s a winner turned into a loser. I had a couple opportunities to take a 15% or better profit and let it ride. Now I might end up with a loss.

AKRX: The one bright spot. Still trending upwards.

The plan is to stay in cash until the market makes up it’s mind where it wants to go.

This morning I sold ZAGG @16.30 for a gain of 21.5%

Probably sold early but promised myself not to get greedy.

Overall the portfolio is up 29.25% so far.

Still on the road so won’t be adding to the portfolio for a few more days.

Sold @31.70 for 15% profit.
Decided not to get greedy and put in a limit sell order this morning.
I'm on the road and don't get internet access that often.
Nice profit for holding for a couple weeks.
Won't be buying anything till I get back home around mid August

This morning I kicked ALTR out of the house; Too long with out performing;
I gave it lots of opportunity but I sure there are other stocks that want to do something.
Out at $41.20 for a small loss.

Questcor Pharmaceuticalsis a biopharmal company whose primary product is an injectable drug that is use in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), in adults, and the treatment of infantile spasms (IS), in children. Its other product is use in the treatment of insomnia
For the three months ended 31 March 2011, QCORs revenues increased 40% Net income increased 43%.. Revenues reflects an increase in demand for the company's drugs. Seems to have lots of room to grow. QCOR has increased its presentations to the medical community to make more Drs aware of the product.

Earning announcement on July 26. These are crap shoots but last Q they surprised on the up side. Lets hope it's a trend.

Good pick, deaddog. I say so because I bought QCOR at the end of June. Around $24, I believe. I was going to sell it when it broke $28. Whenever I buy outside of $MM picks, I don't really follow the same rules so I can get a little greedy. Anyway, your analysis gives me confidence.

AKRX Bought last 1/3 of my position today @ 7.14
Overall cost was $7.01
Hindsight: Should have bought the whole damn thing on day one. Wasn't paying attention when it dropped(More concerned with my golf swing).
I did want to see it make new high so things could be worse.
