Started a position in ZAGG this morning @ $10.12
Picked it up on a Finviz scan for Momo and Growth.
Just reported record revenue and has raised its guidance.
Zagg, which makes protective covers for mobile devices, earlier this month signed an exclusive licensing and distribution deal with Logitech International (LOGI - News) for its tablet computer accessory, the ZAGGmate case with keyboard.
The product, designed to protect the iPad if dropped, has an embedded wireless Bluetooth physical keyboard to allow users to type on the iPad using a keyboard. It was launched earlier this month.
The iPad's popularity has spawned a number of accessories, including protective covers and wall-mounting gear, as companies vie to get in on the strong demand for the gadgets.
The new co-branded product, priced at $99, has won favorable reviews, with blogs highlighting its easy set-up and compact keyboard.

Every dog has its day. The stocks that end up bubbling up to the top of my screens have a unique characteristic about them in that they are undervalued while still trading at or near their highs. I think it is safer to play the "value gap" and then bail when that gap diminishes. The objective is to roll into a new stock with a larger "value gap".Originally posted by Deaddog View PostThat’s the weak link in my strategy. I’m kind of torn between two options on when to sell.
Mr. Markets sell on a specific percentage gain seems to be working really well for him.
Before finding this site I was thinking more along the line of Darvis. Why sell a stock that is going up? I never got out at the top, but I also saw a lot of paper profit disappear.
So for now I’m looking for around 20%.
They say fear and greed move the market and the only way to overcome those emotions is to have a good trading plan and the discipline to follow it.
We’ll see what ULTA does this week and if I have the discipline to follow the plan.
If stock price rises between the 3 months of earnings announcements, by definition the stock is becoming more expensive and that's why I like to get out of them.
Here's the rub. When you are a pure value investor, you aren't looking at price momentum. While their is nothing wrong with value investing, you may be correct in your analysis but the market may not pick up on it for a while. I like buying stuff that is already moving so I don't have that issue.

8 Positions open; I increased the max number of positions as I added some cash in the New Year. 8 is now the max.
ENTR is troublesome but the fundies remain good so I’m giving it a little room.
