I put in an order for SSRI calls this morning. Have some SLW too and considering some RGLD.
Filled: Got the June $6.00 strike for 1.25. Was hoping to get in at yesterday's price of 1.00, but they are moving today.

I recently bought AAMRQ based on fundamentals as well as some technical analysis. Was so caught up in analysis I didn't even think about the upcoming merger with LCC to form the new American Airlines AAL. Was down over 10% at one point last week and closed the week at -8.67%. Nobody knew what the conversion rate to the new AAL stock would be. The message boards say it has been posted at .665 of a share for each share of AAMRQ. If that is correct, I've gone from down 8.67% Friday to +43.87% today. That's too good to be true. I'll find out shortly as it's not posted on my account yet.

On paper the fundies and the graphs look good if the numbers haven't been tampered with.

Same thing here billy. Not sure what "But maybe the numbers don't lie." means.

Mimo, That's one problem I have with RAD. It is very highly rated by almost every source I look at, yet, the Rite Aid's near me have virtually no business. They just had to match buildings with CVS and Walgreens and in my area they've lost. And their prices are no bargain. Cold remedy at RAD 9.99 across the street at Kroger, 5.99 and probably a dollar less at Walmart. A few years ago they went on a building spree, thousands of stores. But maybe the numbers don't lie.

DLTR Dollar Tree ($55.17). Recently misssed 3rd quarter earnings and got pummeled. I was in two different stores today along with 2 different stores of their competitors. The DLTR stores were packed, the others (Dollar General, Family Dollar) had employees standing around talking to each other. I like buying stock in companies whose product or service I have used or am familiar with.

CGX is in a decent group with a history of positive earnings surprises and upward revisions for next quarter. ERA is in a strong group top 4% with a nice upward earnings trend. I can't find any projected future earnings regarding ERA.
In addition, ORB does have a slight upward revision in earnings last 30 days. TPC has a bad earnings record with negative past surprises and downward revisions last 30 days.

My new (old) pick is SSRI. Just got in for under $6, and am looking to see this one double and triple with the price of silver over the next 2-5 years.

Got my pop yesterday, and sold out at 1.85 with a 20%+ gain in less than a month! Christmas just came early for me...Originally posted by jiesen View PostWatch GNVC:
This one is rising now due to a restructuring. Look for it to pop another 15-20% in the next 4-6 weeks.
(disclosure: I own some right now, and do not recommend buying it, especially not as a long-term investment. I'm just holding on for a short-term pop.)
