What stock to pick?

Is anyone eyeing TWTR after the massive earnings collapse? Might be an overreaction and it looks like they will form a triple base soon...

These stocks look promising:
FLTX
GTN
HAWK
EEFT
LOAN
Also... VA looks to have beating earning estimates today. It is beaten down and could see a rise from this news. We shall see if a move up can hold... most earnings have been sold off lately. Very cautious.

I have read the write up for LCI and I love it. It is an excellent company and an excellent stock.Originally posted by Louetta View PostPerhaps you've read Ernie's write-up of LCI in the "LCI ===> The Retirement Winner" thread. Worth reading if you have not seen it.

Lucavia, I'd still take LCI. MNST's chart looks good but it is in a weak industry group. Nearly anything health related seems hot these days: Drugs, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, HMO's.

Thanks for the help. I love hearing others opinions. I often find things I overlooked while doing my own research.

I definitely like MNST. It tends to pop quick and go sideways for a while then continue its uptrend. I wouldn't try to time this, however. Hop on the boat and ride it to a cornucopia of fine meats and cheese.Originally posted by Lucavia123 View PostI have several stocks that look to be excellent buys. Which one would you pick?

However, I wouldn't hold this for more than a few years. I think the unhealthiness of energy drinks will affect them in the long-term and the fact that you can buy caffeine pills for 5 cents. I have a bit of a moral quarrel here, haha.

Lucavia, I'd rate them;
1. HAR
2. NHTC
3. AAPL
4. AVGO
5. GRUB
6. QLYS
HAR and NHTC are just about a tossup. The graph of GRUB is also outstanding, although it has a very high P/E compared to peers.

An interesting list. I'd rate the top 3 as :
1. HAR-- Great earnings, looks like a recent MACD cross. My only concern is the weakness of its industry group although it is #1 in the group
2. BIIB---lots of positives. In a very strong group it ranks 6th. Recent dip in 10 day average and slight drop in RT strength. Great EPS
3. MNST--chart looks very strong. 1st in group although soft drinks as a whole aren't doing very good. Has a high P/E relative to its peers
Look into DEPO. I think you'll like it.
