I have always voted Republican, but this is the year where I finally vote 3rd party. I'm not doing it because I'm angry at Trump but thanks to Trump, his mouth, and his absurd hair, I do think it is possible that enough people will vote for Johnson that people will take notice. I doubt he'll win, but he represents me better than Clinton or Trump.Math doesn't lie, but people do.

You do understand that, as a Republican, a vote for anyone other than Trump is a vote for Clinton, correct?Originally posted by blindsquirrel View PostI have always voted Republican, but this is the year where I finally vote 3rd party. You do understand that that is the exact brainwashing that both the Republican and Democrat parties would have you believe, in order to perpetuate the 2-party system that's resulting in our current unsatisfactory situation?Originally posted by mimo_100 View PostYou do understand that, as a Republican, a vote for anyone other than Trump is a vote for Clinton, correct?

A vote for any person is a vote for that person, actually.

You are correct. I refuse to vote against my conscience because that is what I have to live with.Originally posted by jiesen View PostYou do understand that that is the exact brainwashing that both the Republican and Democrat parties would have you believe, in order to perpetuate the 2-party system that's resulting in our current unsatisfactory situation?

My comments reflect reality today. If anyone else had a chance, they would be in the polls with a percent. We cannot start a third party by voting. It starts with plenty of money, a candidate, and lots of grass roots support years ahead of a general election.

I would be willing to bet that Gary Johnson will not win the general election.Tim - Retired Problem Solver

When did H. Ross Perot get into his election run? It was not years ahead and he did rather well. Trump could have done the same if he didn't quite get the nomination and he was new to politics.

I used to believe the whole vote-for-3rd-party-is-a-vote-for-Clinton, and it may still be true. My problem is I can only vote for one candidate and still have any respect for myself after the election. Unfortunately that candidate isn't a Republican or a Democrat this election. I just can't support the clown or that other clown.Math doesn't lie, but people do.

 Just sayin'...

Poll: Hillary Clinton is narrowly leading Donald Trump in Ohio — but she'd lose big to John Kasich.
