Are you allowed to close your pick before year end if you want to lock in profits or limit losses? I realize you can’t make a new pick, but can you close your beginning of the year pick?

You get the closing price of the last trading day of the year - December 31, 2019. Hope that answers your question.

I have PG&E for utility. Many of my classmates works at PG&E in the bay area. Short PCG - Very brave.

My 2019 pick is Aurora (ACB) - its the second-largest pot stock and screaming for a buyout.

Also like Koios Beverage (KBEVF), but sticking with ACB as 2019 PoTY.

QUESTION: I ask this again. Can I close my position before year end to either lock in profits or limit losses? This is what I would do if I were trading real money. I’m not asking to pick another stock at that point. I just want to know if I can close my position before Dec 31.
