My moniker at IBD, as you might remember, is WallStreet Wally. I have not posted there since last August. If my posts were so bad...then why don't they just delete them??? Or answer and prove me wrong...LOL

Been on TMF back when it was free and for a while when it wasn't, only board I couldn't live without was Mr. Market. When he left there was no reason to stay!

Question for IIC - what did you do to become an IBD Outlaw? (Now, there's a name for an Investment Club!) After all, they let Poorman come back / remain....of course, they had to or there really wouldn't be a lot of activity over there.

I know Poorman via internet...He seems like a good guy to me. We have very different investing philosphies though.

I believe he was featured in the IBD "Smart Investor" column a coupla yrs ago.

I was contacted by them back about 3 yrs ago for an initial interview...But I musta flunked...'cause that's where it ended...IIC

Ernie...I don't really think that is the case...As I recall, he said you were good, although he doesn't follow your investing philosphy to the "T". I'll never find that post but I'm sure he said it at one of the Groups/Chats I'm in in the last 2 months.

We are all different...and I appreciate your tolerance of me here at your Forum and my Fast Trade practices...Like you said..."There's more than one way to skin a cat"...But I think that we all learn from each other...Personally, I prefer to make changes slowly...copying others verbatim can be hazardous to your portfolio...But I ALWAYS do my dd on your Top pix...some I buy and some I don't...but I take advantage of your info and I hope some find some use of my scans/info...Thx...Best, Doug(IIC)

Yea...I can't wait for the first Mr Market convention myself. You can bet I'll be there....but I must warn you, I don't have pointy ears and I haven't seen an episode of StarTrek in years.

Reading WSW was always a high point on IBD even before realizing you and he were one and the same. Their loss is our gain, if they banned you they are stupider than I thought.

Ernie, Bruce (Poorman) doesn't hate anyone...for everyone's information Poorman will be in Fla for vac the first week in April. I'm trying to line up a place now to have an investor meeting...it was going to be at my house but now it's getting too crowded.

Maybe I should set the record straight...I was not officially banned...it was more of a mutual thing. My big problem with IBD is that they nickel and dime everybody to death. Then, they have no one available to answer questions about their products...At least no one that knows what they are talking about.

They don't even answer my emails. When they used to answer, I never got a satisfactory answer.

At the last 2 conventions in Chicago and Las Vegas, I thoroughly enjoyed baffling/embarrassing their reps at their booths. I'm not usually that type of person, but when I'm paying someone almost $1,500. a year for info, I expect answers to my questions...not some canned BS. Seems to me for that kind of money they could hire some people that know what they are talking about...IIC
