I have a degree in Civil Engineering and still have to refer to the books to refresh the formulas and numbers. The circles are new to me and I was just curious to how they were set up and the mathematics behind it all. The 1.618 is the number that all of Fibonacci's work and theory is based on isn't it?

Ski you haven’t seen me in any of them. I have not keep any positions overnight since GAP. Been having some success in day trading and so I feel for now I’ll continue with what I’m doing, until the market shows some power. So since this year d/t has been for me. I don’t want to blurt out some stocks that I would not trade and if I did I may be out of the position before the close.

I’m not concerned with coming in last or first, but what I am concerned with is my trading ability. I’m testing a new swing or short term trading method now and I’m impressed with the results, however I have not put money in it yet. Part of my method has to do with things I’ve posted in this thread, using the tops down approach. From my scan list I received 2 trigger signals today GBBK and INSU the others are APCC AFCO BNK.

Have not a clue about what these stocks are about but going simply from the charts. As time moves on I will constantly be in the learning phase and this to me is important!!

Well whatever you try to do good luck an I hope you make a zillion with the new system. I've never paper traded in my life. It would piss me off if I were to pick several winners and didn't have any money in them. But I hope it works out for you. I'm sure it will as I see that you're determined and very much into it.

Ski, I believe it is wise to test a new system out before committing cash to it, but that is just me. If some take off I’ll not got mad, in fact I’ll get excited because then I know something could be working, but will it stand the test of time? Will it work over and over again? How will a sluggish market with little volume impact my results? How many stop outs will I get? This is what I’m evaluating right now. Nothing is perfect, but consistency over time is what I’m working on.

I was trying to get them both on the same post but no cigar. So it took two posts. The markets are getting that feeling that we may be overbought. Who knows what evil lurks in the mind of these markets.
