  • Hope all is well here @ Mr. M's site. Just wanted to jump in and post a quick chart on the Q's. Looks like a possible trigger today, but no trades for me.

    Here is a slop chart

Thanks for the chart Runner. Hope you're enjoying your time off. Sorry for the rain we've sent to you from Katrina.

Im already in,and it looks like it is busting a move on steady volume, possible HANS in its infancy?

I am preferring lower volume stocks that DTs havent started working yet.The float is low,and from the chart I assume something is happening.

        • Greetings,
Thanks Runner,I fell into this one,and could fall right out.Id like to see a consolidation like bake in the end of June.

I want to let it run ,and not get out too early.I can only assume by the charts that something good is going on.

Its very hard to let a winner run for me,I always pull too fast.Does this look like something is brewing behind the scenes?Cause and effect says an event of some sorts sent this sailing, and its not the earnings.

          cordially Tom

Tom what ya think about NWD? it is in the same group with SNAK.
Checking out some numbers. The SP-500 this month has declined by -2.18%. The following groups have outperformed the S&P.

Sort Value gives percent difference over the S&P.

Here are a few tickers from oil stocks that have come to the top..

              S&P down more

              Runner,
Did you see my last post over in "Market Watch" thread? Marty Chennard is saying that the S&P will fall further--looking for a 9800-8800 Dow! That would hurt.

              • Greetings,

Runner you have an excellent data base to screen from obviously.NWD looks fantastic to me.If the market didnt have me spooked Id be all over it.

                I went all cash today,dumping PTF,and SNAK

I picked up a years worth of distributions with PTF in 1 week,Ill settle for that.

On SNAK I didnt like my entry, and am happy with 10% in a week on a lucky call.
If it pulls to support I may re-enter,although NWD looks ready right now.It appears to be a Chinese co.?

Thanks for your work Runner, and NBB.

                cordially Tom

BTW,what do you think of Webs liking of OFG,it looks like a nice place to buy, with a %4.5 dividend, and a 3 year low for support?

                  Penny Stock: Beware

                  Tom,
NWD is a penny stock. That simply means that once you hook 10% or so, you'd be wise to back off, for it is going to retrace. That is JMHO of penny stocks, and not NWD in particular.

                  Here's one to look at:

I say all of this because I had someone recommend NWD to me about ten days ago. It has been a good ride for them; but sometime or another it is time to take profits.

This is not a post to bash NWD. This is just a lesson on the inherent dangers in the penny stock world.

I saw that chart NB. Wow that does not look good. I'm still chilling but I did pick up a little of MTRX. It hit my screen a few days back.

I got a hand full of sectors that I'm Bullish on and MTRX was in one of them.

                    • This is a 5 day sector percent change in relation to the SP-500. Some interesting stocks are inside the top 5 groups:

Bored? Want excitement? Need a job?

                          Runner,
On vacation, huh? Are you bored? Crave excitement? Need a job? Well how about giving me your viewpoint on BMCH. Specifically, do you think BMHC is going to hit the MM target of $94.50 in the next week or two?

                          • NB,
check out 3 charts on BMHC and tell me what ya think? IMO I see a strong possibility that it crosses Mr. Markets target in the near future. Notice the weekly and monthly chart. The daily STO may try to test the 80 band, but we shall see. This sector is going to be in huge demand in the coming months. Many sectors will be in huge demand, but I think many buying at this time could be quick to lock in gains. We shall see.

                              Going to Pop

                              Runner,
I think we shook out a lot of weak holders on Thursday and Friday. That retest of the $87 support was decisive. It formed a cup and handle on the intraday chart, and bulled right on up again. I see a $2-$3 bull charge on Tuesday.

                              Thanks for the post!

                              • NB, that then would be sweet for all holding BMHC. We shall see soon enough where the market takes this one...
