I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Note to Karel: Since this is my idea, if BillySue opens an acct., do I get a recruitment credit?
If she mentions you as referrer when she subscribes, certainly. The number of referrals is shown in the user profile. A high number entitles you to a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Last time I checked I had 4, though it had been 3 until shortly before that. I don't know who that 4th one was, but I thank them. I've recently sung the praises of this forum to a couple of select people from the Yahoo boards--people who seem to have pretty keen market insights--but to my knowledge they haven't yet jumped in.
The daily results will be posted later than usual tonight. I'm going to be preoccupied and uanble to get to it in as timely a fashion as I normally do.
While it's true that the oily boid gets the woim, Coily, who was anything but oily this week, got the woim BIG time! He's sittin' there, way yonder ahead of the rest of the pack! With a 27.06% gain on IFO this week, he's just sittin' there grinnin', knowin' how hard it's going to be to catch him! Here's a picture of him, with a couple of his cohorts:
Then there's BoSox Jon. If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times, BoSox, don't mess with those penny stocks! But would you listen? NooOOOooo! You had to run out there and make a fool outta me by playin' one (DVW) that's given you a HUGE 12.04% return so far! Well you just keep playin' with those penny stocks, and one day (as my old man used to tell me) your chickens will come home to roost!
Douggie got worried earlier today that he'd sold his Dirty Harry Callahan stock (SWB) too soon, but lookie here! The intraday high today was still a nickel below his sell price! You see, Doug? Even when you think you're wrong, the only thing you're wrong about is thinking you were wrong! Doug is still clinging to 3rd with a very cool 9.74%! As Dirty Harry might say, "A man's got to know his limitations."
Ya feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?
Again, happy to report that the gang moved in the right direction today. The cumulative score among the active players this week so far is 1.93%!
Dow up 91.97 (0.82%)
Nas up 40.99 (1.88%)
S&P up 15.62 (1.23%)
Guess my little trick didn't work...I wouldn't have actually done that in real life...the post was supposed to show up at 6:30...but it didn't...nothing to do but let it ride now

Gary cleans up with a breathtaking 40.47% playing IFO! Not quite enough to top DMK's 46.04% six weeks ago, but a mind-blowing total nonetheless! Congratulations on a HUGE win, Gary!
BoSox Jon takes the silver medal with a 15.18% gain on DVW, a pretty amazing total in itself, that many other weeks would have been good enough for the gold!
Quietly sliding into third is Scifos, who played IMNY, sold two days ago and closed up shop! Hey! 6.94% is a very strong performance!
Good week, everyone! The active players finished with a 1.65% gain on the week—first time in four weeks we finished to the good. Let's make next week even better!
