Week 21 (, Day 2

BillyJoe, like I said before, that was HUUUUGELY great timing on your part, dude! Selling just 5 cents off the high, it don't get much better 'n that! And with 15.49% above the entry in just a couple days, way to play 'em, my man!

Ol' Douggie's showing a bit of hugeness himself this week, with a gain of 7.28% on his play of ICOC long! That's a touchdown with an extra point! And Douggie won't short a stock. Against his religion, he says. Hey I can respect that. I'll short once in a while, but not very often.

And look who came out of nowhere, jumping 20 places into third! It's his hugeness, Pete Huge! He was 2.78% in the red at the end of Monday's trading, but all of a sudden he's up 6.48%! It just goes to show, you can't count someone else's chickens before they're hatched either! Good one, Pete!

Not far behind, burnin' his way into the 4th slot, is the Flamin' Brain with the long side of WIRE this week, although NB-baby's still hopin' the insulation is going to come off of that one, since he's on the "short" side. Pay attention to that color coding on the wire if you don't want to get "short" circuited folks! Congrats on a good play, Photon!

Spike's in 5th with his short play on KNTA! Nice goin', Spike!

The only other player on the upside so far is the Stock-picker Formerly Known as the Dart-thrower, but the week is still relatively young, so there's still hope for the rest of us laggards.

Sold 1/2 my position today for a 119% gain. What's surprising is I held it at a big loss after they issued those extra 3 million shares or whatever it was shortly after my purchase.

Week 21 (, Day 3

The Comeback Kid, a.k.a. BillyJoe, has become more unreachable this week merely by resting on his laurels. Next week, Billy, perhaps you can send your laurels out to the dry cleaners to get the wrinkles removed while you rest on your hardy's.

There's a TIE in 2nd place. While losing a bit o' ground gain-wise, Pete's still hangin' on to 2nd place with TIE.

I see IIC's ICOC isn't icy. (Say that really fast ten times.) But it has cooled just a bit, but not so much that he isn't still pullin' into 3rd with a pretty healthy 2.58%.

BoSox is keeping his head above water with Lyehopper's favorite trading vehicle, Diogenes' AP has returned 0.9%, and the Flamin' Brain is playing see-saw with Newborn, each on different sides of WIRE. Although Flamin' is up on it now, earlier today, Newborn was the on the positive side. I guess it's alternating current running through that WIRE this week.

Hello May I play in POTW? When is the next entry?

You can make your pick this weekend anytime before the close of the market on Monday. If you pick before the open on Monday, you get the opening price, otherwise you get the price at the minute you pick it. (Er, normally it'd be Monday, but the market's closed Monday, so I guess that means you have until Tuesday.)

I'd recommend also that you read up on the rules of the POTW before making your pick... just might save you from making some of the rookie mistakes (like picking an OTCBB or pinksheet stock).
