I vote to let him have the pick if indeed it plays out the way Greb explained the circumstances. Ok, one more please. I'll pm you my address for the reimbursement Greb. Cash only please no checks.

Why do the letters D-H-B keep flashing in my forebrain??? If you give it to him, it might just serve him right (as the perps are paraded in handcuffs on the evening news) when the stock tanks. HA! I leave it to the more senior members to pass judgement.

    FRPT- in or out?

Well, that's how the rules work in this particular contest.

That said, I do have some discretion as scorekeeper, and your stock being listed in January does put it almost (though not quite) in a gray area. So here's what I'll do. If the rest of the contestants are ok with it (meaning that at least 2 others give a thumbs up by this Friday, and there are fewer objectors than supporters) then I'll allow your pick, and give you the closing price on Friday Jan 19th, instead of the close of Friday Jan 12th like everyone else. Otherwise, I may (or may not) come up with another way to include your high-flier in the game. At any rate, you should also come up with a back-up pick that fits the contest criteria as of Jan 12th, if you want to be sure to get in.

So what do the rest of you think?

Should Grebnet get his pick or not?

Would anyone object to bending the rules since listing is 6 days after the deadline ??? If listing doesnt occur , Ill withdraw and take any verbal abuse warranted....

I thought that the contest began on Jan 12th? jejejeje

Imagine the verbal abuse to us if, at the end of the year, FRPT.ob makes the highest gains out of the entire group, and nobody allowed you to play it!!!!

Is the verbal abuse allowed to start earlier than that? I think that the facts you cite are a very good reason not to allow unlisted stocks in general, let alone yours, you shifty stockpicker you!

2007 POTY scorecard (3 trading days left to get your picks in)

Ok, with three days left in the week to enter the POTY contest, here are the 24 picks so far. Looks like we're all pretty optimistic for 2007, doesn't it? Anyway, if you want to get in, make sure you post a (valid) pick by close of market this Friday, Jan 12th!

By the way, anyone whose pick I might have bungled, please let me know.
