  • The Stock Crash of 2006 - 2007

It won't be a terror attack on U.S. soil, but rather the mutation to humans of the bird flu which could kill as many as 150 million people world-wide. All commerce will come to a halt. People will not want to leave their homes having stocked up to weather the pandemic. Make sure you have enough bottle water on hand for at least 6 months. Have a nice weekend.

I've gotten bird flu twice, not so bad.
SARS once, and I didn't even know it at the time.
West Nile dozens of times (but only caught on the first time) and it was whimpier than the flu.

        Modern viruses are weak.

The Bird Flu is quite a serious problem... but I highly doubt it will become dangerously out of control.

I doubt anybody will be joking about this bird fly if it in fact becomes a pandemic. In fact we stand a good chance of being slapped back into the Wild West. It is believed that should the virus be transmitted from human to human that it would only take about a week to spread around the world. Our economy will shut down. Think about it. No imports or exports, transportation, food, water, law, and the list goes on and on. Folks this is not a joking manner and if you think the Government has a plan you better look at Katrina. This thing will make Katrina look like nothing. Money will mean nothing during this time. Banks won’t be open and you’ll not be able to spend it anyhow. Our food supply will dwindle and stores will not be able to resupply because nobody will be working.. Yep the world as you know it would change and this will occur fast.

Yes I believe some things I’ve mentioned are possible and not out in left field. I say load up on can food and water. If you wait until it hits you might be too late. People will be storming the grocery stores on the first report. Once the shelves are empty that’s it folks. Oh ya also might want to load up some ammo as well.

How is this for some gloom and doom? I think it is a matter of when instead of if!!

I think we should have Cheney shoot all the birds.

I wonder if Cheney was trying to give Bush a little hint?

Cheney needs to use his X-Box for conducting his hunting.

not a bad idea, Lye. plus, with a thousand frozen chickens, you'll know that no matter how bad the economy gets, you and your family will not go hungry!
