Wish Scottrade allowed short trades on issues below $5,it cost me on DCN today,and my POTW pick VC.

Anyone else use a broker that wont let you short sub $5 issues?

I still like shorting DCN on any strength,it looks like its headed below $1.

Here is something about FLOW that caught my eye last week. Sorry but I resized it a bit small but if you look closely you can read it. It's about their new technology for machining parts based on streaming water/particles.
I was alittle leary about the chart because they have gained almost 32% overf the last few weeks but after yesterdays reversal at $12.20 I jumped into a position at $12.43. The A/D, money flow, and OBV lines are all tracking up and the volume has been heavy which implies accumulation. The institutional buying has been way up over the last couple of months. Regardless I'm keeping a tight leash on it while I own it.

In the interest of full and fair disclosure, if CNXT ticks back up to 3.25, I will close out and walk away with the 9%+ gain and look for something new. I still believe it has the chance to hit 3.40 but I need to re-deploy this capital elsewhere.

I originally posted this Wednesday, then left for an extra long weekend, returning last evening. I have changed my outlook and will continue to ride this for a while longer.

I have had an eye on Media Science for a month or so now, but my gut just does not feel right on it.
I got into Stratex back in October at 2.41 and sold last week at 5.20. You may see a few more cents on this, but my feeling is it's stalled out. I could be wrong, but I've already made money on it.
If it's cheap stocks you like, take a look at IMNY, IIP or ACSEF. IMNY & IIP I don't own, and may have already played, but ACSEF, I do have, and am looking for big things from it.
