  • On my radar

Here are a handful that I have looked through and like very much. I have not gone into any of them yet, but may enter one or more this week, if my entry point opens up. I may change my mind on that during the day tomorrow, as my entry price on each is within 25 cents or less on each picks closing price tonight:
MTU, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial: at 14.21, I would like to get in at 14.04 and out in the third quarter at 17.
WFC, Wells Fargo: at 63.70, I have an entry of 63.47. It was a low of 63.41 today, but I was on a call. Trading near its' 52 week high, I think you can expect 6.5 points on the upside in the coming months for a clean 10%. A footnote here: If they make a play for another bank or insurance company, expect a minor stall out.
MO, Altria Group: at 71.50, I would like to get in at 71.40. I am looking for this to hit 82 by the fall. (If not sooner)
NHWK, Nighthawk at 23.03, I would make this a long term hold.
ABB, Abbott Labs at 12.19 looks great right now, and look to get out at 14.65

I must have missed something on the wire, as NHWK shot up $1.75 in EH trading. I still like it for a long term position at $24.78, but liked it a hell of a lot better at 23.03 at 4PM. Classic case of shit or get off the pot, and I did neither.

      An update:
MTU: I went in today at 14.01, closed at 14.16
WFC: I went in at 63.45, closed at 64.49
MO: I passed on this one, but closed up .41%
ABB: I went in today at 11.77, gained 13 cents
NHWK: Passed on this one, but it jumped over $2 (9%+) while I was putting up the original post. I did a little digging and found the move resulted from being featured on Mad Money. I was looking to sit on this for a while and ride up a 20%+ gain, say over a year or so. With 9% of the 20% I thought could occur happening before I could get in, makes this less attractive to me now. Remember, this thing IPO'd 3 weeks ago at 18.50, and has shown a 7 buck run already, without, what I would call solid financials.

For now, I am sticking with my sell numbers on all.
      Happy Trading!

I think you should know that you've bought shares in ABB Ltd, not Abbott Labs, which trades as ABT. You must be one of those hard-core TA guys. Still, up is up, and it's working for you... good job!

I'm liking CSCO right here after yesterday's minim pullback.

My error. I have been looking at both, but the ABB I mentioned, is the Swiss Combustion Engine firm that was forced to re-org due to excessive asbestos claims. That is the company I was talking about.
I like ABT for it's dividend, but feel in the low 40's, there isn't much room on the upside (right now).
SGP remains my US pharm pick for the year.
Speaking of pharm, I bought RDY, an Indian company (India is hot right now), back in September at 17.77, and sold 50% of my position in February at 29.44. I know that bulls, bears and pigs routine and should be happy with what I made, but in this case, I may have errored.
With the clearest of 20/20 hind-sight, I wished I had put the entire position into the closet for a long-long term hold.
Even at a few cents below where I sold, I think this firm has great long term potential. With that said, I do not plan on buying any more at this time, as I still have a sizable position left, and have taken a nice profit also.

Well, all are up, not up huge, but winners, none the less:

                MTU: from 14.01 to 14.64 64cents (approx 4.7%)

                WFC: from 63.45 to 64.49 1.04 (approx 2%)

                MO: from 71.50 to 73.40 1.90 (approx 2.6%)

                NHWK: 23.03 to 25.91 2.88 (approx 12.5%)

                ABB: 12.19 to 12.19, flat

I did not mean to offend anyone, and certainly have not tried to influence anyone's stock selections.
I do exhaustive research on 50 to 60 stocks a week, and share with what I think are potential winners.
I also share what I think a stock can do. If it's a 3% stock, I say so, if it looks good for long term capital appreciation, I say so.
If I make an error in what I post, or think that something I wrote is off and needs revision, I say so.
Finally, I always disclose when I am in a position I post on, or if I go into one subsequent.
So, now, where have I gone wrong?

You are posting junk dude. Do you have extended hours trade data available to you?.... didn't think so.

Clearly, if you do not have extended hours, then you are no where near as experienced as you think you are.
I will take my CFA, 33 years as an analyst, manager and arbitrager to your "sophisticated screens" anyday.
Review my posts' and average the gains on the winners: 9.14%, average my loosers: None! Several flat, but no red on the screen.
                        Can you claim that?

I didn't think so. I bid you a good day. I am on to join some real players.
