    A Dramatic Development In Iraq This Morning.
    The U.s. And Iraqi Forces Have Launched The Largest Air Assault Against Insurgents.. Since The U.s.-led Invasion Three Years Ago.
    More Than 15-hundred Iraqi And Coalition Troops Are Participating In An Attack On Suspected Militants Near Samarra
    The Operation Will Last Several Days And Use 250 Vehicles And Aircraft.

    Sorry..but if we think this will quell a civil war in Iraq, we are smoking the good hashish from the Middle East.

    Until a stable and strong government, comprising of representative leaders from all of the different demographic / religious groups is formed, there will continue to be unrest in Iraq.

    We are over there because someday the world will run out of oil.

      There Are Reports That Halliburton Failed To Protect American Soldiers' Drinking Water In Iraq.

      According To An Internal Company Memo, Halliburton Failed To Protect The Water Supply It's Paid To Purify For U-s Soldiers Throughout Iraq.

      The Report, Obtained By The Associated Press, Said The Company Failed To Assemble And Use Its Own Water Purification Equipment...allowing Contaminated Water To Come From The Euphrates River.

      The Water Was Used For Washing And Laundry At A U-s Base Camp In Ramadi.

      The Report Also Says Contamination Also Occurred At Halliburton's Other Operations Throughout The Country.

      Halliburton Said Wednesday It Conducted A Review Last Year That Found No Evidence Of Any Illnesses In Iraq From Water.

      The Company's Subsidiary, Kellogg Brown And Root, Works Under Contract To Provide A Number Of Services To The U-s Military In Iraq...including Providing Water And Purifying It.
