Hey Spike I just figured out why I never saw that short setup on PARL that you "posted somewhere".... You posted it on what, March 7th?.... On your Blog. You "neglected" to post it here on $$Mr Markets$$$'s HUUUGE forum dude. SO the hundreds of people that would normally have benifited from that fine TA probibly missed it just like I did. What gives dude?

        Gehl

        Lye-baby,
That GEHL chart looks great. Just wish they had an option chain.

PARL: right at the 200 day and the price by volume support. Topping tails two days in a row. Very low volume today=a lot of people on the sidelines waiting for PARL to show which direction it is really going to go. I can feel the suspense!

            Lye:
Perhaps I missed it somewhere but I did not see a comment regarding the total
number of stocks you plan to include in your portfolio. Do you have a projected number?

Well I have been known to hold 15 (or more) positions in my personal portfolio. Some I will feature here and some I won't. I would estimate having a max of about ten open positions or less featured here at a time. I hope to start posting "closed positions" pretty soon.... and hopefully they are for a gain.lol

Thanks. Will keep tuned in for the other choices.
Am especially interested in what you chose to short. That is an area that I have tread only lightly over the years and am not yet at a comfort level with shorting.
I, also, try not to hold more than 10 positions since I find it very difficult to keep track of more than 10 at a time with the type of in-depth review I think is necessary.

I hold some stocks that I'll not touch for a very long time. For example the local (regional) bank that I do business with.... I own a pretty good chunk of it. They are publically traded but volume is very thin. I buy all my shares directly from insiders. I own large positions in some other thinly traded stocks that I won't mention here for obvious reasons. And the others I'll keep to myself are just too boring for this HUUUGE forum.lol

BUT.... another stock I already own is lookin' really good to me.... and I might add shares today. Just depends.... If I do add shares I'll feature it.

What I was referring to was my trading portfolio. I also hold some stocks that are "buy and hold" type investments as opposed to "trading" stocks.
The trading stocks have to be closely monitored but the other, as a general rule, do not have to be given that type of scrutiny.
