I went into MSPD on 3/8 at $3.26, looking for some sort of play in the internet phone arena. The stock had not done anything, and I was beginning to re-evaluate the position. This morning, I see it's up a half a buck in EH, and it hit a high last night of 4.19.

I can't find anything as to why it heated up the way it did, and now, I just heard that Cramer featured it on his show last night. BTW- Jimmy Cramer is a good man, and is one of the best at what he does, but usually, by the time he hits the air at 6, his picks have already run hard.

I think I'll sit on this for a while, and hope to see that $4.19 again. By chance, did anyone here see last nights show, and what did he call for a top end on this? My philosophy would be to take his high end, back off a couple of points and set the limit there to sell.

I don't really follow his show, nor do I have an in, BUT>>>>>I know someone that has called in and made the air several times. His trick to getting on: He calls in very early, around 5:15-5:30, gets to a staffer, and waits on hold until they start taking lightning round calls.
I can't vouch that the above works, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

I can't call him a fool, he is good at what he does. In this case, he has crapped on my parade. Since he featured MSPD on his show, the daily volume has shot through the roof!
This indicates to me that the "rapid fire boys" are all over this. They'll take a huge position, say 10,000 shares or more, wait for a 3,4 or 5 cent move and dump.
This is causing an artificail stall on the momentum. I am 97% certain that is the case, because the shorts on them are almost none. An overwhelming number of rapid fire traders, trade on fully margined accounts. These are the very same types that went out and shot up day trading offices in Atlanta, killed wives in Alabama for insurance money and committed "Hari-Karri" in New Jersey when the market starting turning in 2000/2001.
Sorry for my rant. Carry on.

Hate to disagree but a fool is an apt description. A few months ago I read a study that measured the performance of the stocks he touted on his show. The majority were losers.

No matter, though...he can write bigger checks than you or I and that's all that counts <G>.

If you read Cramer's first book, you'll figure him out fast.....I did, and my take is, he's way too emotional to run money.....When he almost went under, it was his wife's calm, cool collective that held it together....I've been reading Realmoney since it opened.....Most of those guys suck at trading......BTW, I don't pay for Realmoney.
