Are you talking about HSOA? Pretty good day today. An accumulation day where todays volume and price were more and higher than yesterdays. Accumulation days are always better than distribution days and ALWAYS better than being up on lower or decreasing volume. Showing strength. Are you looking at it for a trade?
Watch who you call a grown up. I'm older but never claimed to be grown up.
Sorry if I moved the subject over here, I didn’t want to be disrespectful to Louetta discussing the matter in her thread.
Anyway, what made you prompt this stock? I don’t see anything out of the ordinary with the number but I could be wrong? I do like the volume movement.
Trade? Oh no no, I’m not ready! I added this stock on my excel spreadsheet for fun like POTW at $5.72 in between classes. What price target do you have in mind?

I see some intrinsic value in the stock at these levels. I think the stock took a bum rap with the Stocklemon report. Also the revenue guidance of 140/160 million for this next qtr. raised some eyebrows and rightly so. I liked the chart and the fact that there was a lot of shorting and naked shorting going on which could cause a short squeeze and there is no better place to be than on the long side when that type of frenzy takes place as the rush to accumulate shares to cover short positions takes place. I have been trading the stock on several previous occassions recently with success. I thought that it hit bottom at $4.35 range and when it started to move back up from that range I watched and waited until the chart showed me what I thought I was looking for in the move back up. I thought $5.40 was a pretty good entry point. The stock showed decent strength near the close yesterday. I'm looking for $6.50/7.00 range but will let it run to see where this will go. There still may be some traders holding on to sell into any strength just to get back to even. You always have some of that which doesn't help the upward movement but the idea is to try to time the trade to when the sellers and the selling has exhausted itself and the overhead stock surplus is bought up and the demand is becoming greater than the supply. That provides upward movement.Originally posted by StkyTreat View PostHi Ski

Short Selling The process of selling a stock with the hope of buying it back at a lower price (sell high, buy low). Short sellers are bearish and believe the price will decline. Short selling involves borrowing stock (usually from the broker) to sell short and using margin to finance the borrowing. If the price of the stock in question advances too far, the short seller will receive a margin call and be required to put up more money. A short squeeze occurs when the price advances so fast that short sellers are forced to cover their positions (buy the stock back), which drives prices even higher.Originally posted by StkyTreat View Postwhat is naked shorting and a short squeeze?
Naked shorting would be when someone doesn't have the stocks in theirs or someone elses possession, they could use, the stocks to provide in case the stock gets called in from the short position by their brokerage firm.
A short squeeze is when there is a high percentage of people who are holding short positions in stock, betting that the stock will go down, suddenly realize that the stock is now going up and that it is going to cost more per share now that the stock is appreciating in value to cover their, physically buy the shares that they have borrowed initially to short the stock, positions for the number of shares that they have shorted. If demand for shares is increasing and the stock is going up in price as a result then the ability for the shorts positions to buy the shares they need to cover their positions makes the demand increase proportionally and eventually a frenzy by the short positions to get shares developes driving the price up even faster and higher which in turn increases their losses.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Yes I have school but we have 10 minutes between classes so we can walk to our other class.
Yeah, I use google and answers.com to answer my questions but at that moment I didn't have time. Sorry I won't ask silly questions anymore. Thanks

Yeah, and then be sure to patronize the advertizers. I own GOOG, and I'd like to keep that ad revenue rolling.Originally posted by DSteckler View PostEver hear of Google? Try using it to answer your questions.
BTW, did you know there are rumblings about Google possibly acquiring Napster? I like the idea.—Rob
