I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. technicals + fundamentals both look good. AND the earnings were just released this morning, pre-market.
I do not post these opportunities very often.
What I love about this type of post is that instead of just saying "hey guys look at this setup I think I might have found. Fundamentals look great and the chart is giving me good signals. There might be something here that we could profit from", it gets posted like it's the guru of all guru's providing us with some monumental piece of gold dust. Get a grip on your ego Peanuts and take a look at it from someone elses perspective on how the post looks.
This certainly wasn't the opportunity of the day bud.

When I was a kid we use to go to North Dakota pheasant hunting at one of my father's flying buddies parents farm. It was the best pheasant hunting. We would be way out in the fields and if you had to take a crap, no one ever remembered to bring some tissues or paper of some sort, you had to wipe yourself with a corncob. That was harsh. Living in the jungle 3/4 weeks at a time, in the rain in completely soaking wet clothes and boots, eating out of a can, and having the skin peeling off your toes they were wet so long, and no decent sleep in days,an on top of that people were trying to kill you, that was harsh.
There's ways of giving advice and picks and then there's the way Peanuts put it. I don't think Peanuts is in that league yet.
OK, so you guys did not like the last 5 hours of trading... it is my fault.
I can't play with you guys because your hindsight is better than my foresight. Way to go!
When I feel the same way about a certain stock, I will be sure to post it the way you guys can accept it. I'll leave my ego aside and tell you all about the merits of a stock and it's technical set up and really pump up the stock for you. Heck, I'll even try to tell you when and how much to buy. Get a grip fellas. What I posted was right on. But, everything doesn't always work out the way it is "supposed" to- your vast experience in the market should tell you this, right?
Thanks for the bashing and tongue lashing. I stuck my neck out to post on a stock which I felt could help others. You have done a great job of stuffing me back into my box and making yourself feel better. Try to help others next time. The thanks and good feeling you get is better than that little bit of righteousness that you felt by telling me how wrong and egotistical I was to post something that you did not like.

BTW: I also hold GV from about a month ago. I am happy to hold it, and I expect a higher price in the near future... for MYSELF

That's a great way to have put it, Peanuts. Come back out of your box and share what you've got. Heck, my contributions should be filed under "contrarian indicators."
(they're not bad fellas, <well.. maybe one is a bit priggish> but the others are really just good ol boys that like to have a good bar brawl for fun. get's the kinks outta them, ya know. )

A month ago it was $1.19 per share.... down over 8% right now. Sorry if the following question seems "harsh".... but.... Why do you like GV?
Why am I happy to hold? Because my average price is 1.02. Why do I like GV? Because I think I can sell those shares at a higher price. For me, there is nothing special about the company, the CEO, the products, the assets, or even the future prospects this year. The only thing I care about is the share price. When it reaches a certain point, I will sell every share I have and move on to the next stock to make ~50% on.
Now, if I don't get that ~50% by a certain time period, I may bail and either take my small loss or smaller than expected profit, but either way, I don't see much negative from my average price. I think GV will reach 1.5 on the bid sometime within the next 6 weeks. I think there is healthy support at my average price.
I only think statements are harsh if they are aggressive, diminishing, dismissive, or insulting. Your question was not harsh. Thank you for asking it.

Sorry peanuts, if you had shown up at this forum about a year and a half or two years ago you'd have found a much friendlier place. I think because the size of the board has grown so much and attracted so many more people that the 'mood' of the place has greatly changed. Some of it is better: there are a lot more smart people here; and some of it is worse: people aren't as nice.

But, there are some of us original Mr Market groupies, who have been here for a couple of years.
Excuse, me while I go worship at the feet of my life size Mr Market mannequin...
