I'm very sorry about the loss of your dad Karel.... My wife lost her father to lung cancer not too long ago.... and my daddy (74) was diagnosed with "BOOP Lung disease" just last week, he's on oxygen, can't walk 20 feet without sitting down and gasping for air. He was throwing around 70 pound square bales of hay with me just last fall.... This month will be the first time I can remember that he won't be crappie fishing with my brother and me on our annual spring fishing trip. I can imagine what you must be feeling.... You and your family are in my prayers dude.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. We really need them in this trying time.

And Jim, of course I understand. News like this makes the grief bubble up afresh. A suicide is very hard to cope with. I pray for you, and for your nephew and his family.

            Regards,

            Karel

Very sorry to hear about the passing of your father. Last Friday, I was informed by my doctor that my cancer, which I thought was cured for 8 years, had returned. Both myself and my wife have been treated for this beast. it isn't a picnic as you well know. Very few people are lucky enough to die from a massive heart attack according to my doctor. Take care. Time is the great healer.

                          NY,

I'm sad to hear about your diagnosis. You've beaten this before, and with the advances in medicine over the past 8 years, odds are good that you will do it again. I'm wishing you the best of luck in this fight.

Thanks, Ny4Ever. We are slowly climbing out of a deep hole. As for you: lots of strength. After that first diagnosis of re-emergence, the whole circus starts again, lots of checks first, and then the treatment. I hope the best for you! (No, not a massive heart attack! )

                            Regards,
