    Something More to Worry About

According to the Sun-Sentinel.com , 3 Florida women have been eaten by alligators in the last week. Before this there were only 17 confirmed deaths from alligator attacks in the last 58 years. What's going on ? We should send a Mr.Market posse down there consisting of Gatorman , Websman , and Lyehopper to take care of business before it's too late. Next those beasts will be after our loved ones up north.

I went down to the Everglades once and they served alligator bits for lunch. It really wasn't tasty at all..kind of rubbery.

I've eaten alligator and thought it tasted like a cross between snapping turtle and bull frog legs. I love turtle.....

I also love bull frog legs. The Friday night buffet at the Peaks of Otter Lodge always has them (about 15 minutes from my house).... they taste kinda like froggy chicken. http://www.peaksofotter.com/

If an alligator shows up in one of my ponds?.... He's supper.
      BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!

        Hey,
Was golfing down Kiawah Is. SC in April. They had to kill 11 ft. alligator in pond inback of a house overlooking one of the courses there and when they opened it up they found 14 dog collars in it's belly ! now at the risk of causing confusion, the alligators down there are HUUUUUGE !

In the late 90's I was fishing in Ocean Isle N.C. and they had to remove one about eight or nine feet long that was walking up the beach.

Just like the coyotes.... they're gonna take over!..... HEY I'VE GOT IT!.... That's the answer to the coyote problem that's here now! Webs! bring me up a dozen of those gators. I wanna turn em lose up Lyehopper Hollow to eat these blasted coyotes!

            What It Tastes Like

A park ranger arrested an old hermit dude when he caught him eating a bald eagle over a campfire. They hauled him in, and at his court hearing, the old dude was able to convince the judge to let him off with a stern warning and promised never to do such a thing again.

So just when the old coot was leaving, the judge said to him: "Just out of curiosity, I've always wondered what eagle would taste like. Can you describe it to me?" The old dude thought a few seconds and said: "Well, it's hard to describe, but I guess it's sort of like a cross between a California condor and an osprey." lol

Hey Rob.... At Kerr lake (Clarksville VA) the Federal Park Service introduced Osprey and Bald Eagles there within the past few years. It's pretty cool to be fishing back in a cove early in the morning and see a bald eagle flying around looking for breakfast. I've got some pictures somewhere I took of one.

We have an eagle's nest somewhere in our town but the Parks and Recreation folks won't tell us where it is for fear of some knucklehead disturbing it. Many of my neighbors have seen the eagle perched or flying. I haven't seen it...but I keep looking.

                  Mr.Market,
If you get any more rain the alligators will swim up there and eat your bald eagle.
