      Finals:

      Matt / Stevie defeated V.I. / Cathan - 2 games to none

      V.I. had 38 strikeouts in the losing effort. Stevie hit 2 homers for the winners.

        This is all very interesting...I guess...But let me throw this out...When I was in 6th and 7th grade we used to play 1 on 1 whiffle ball. We had one of those bounce back things(forget the name) behind the batter for the strike zone if the batter didn't swing...Plus it saved time going after the ball.

        Our rules were:

        You hit the ball on a grounder and the pitcher fielded cleanly...out...If not...single
        Fly ball caught...out...Dropped...single
        Fly ball lands over the pitchers head...double
        Fly ball over the fence...Home run

        We had no triples.

        Imaginary runners advanced per bases of the batter

        3 fouls...out
        4 balls...walk

        We had a rectangular field in my front yard...Guess cause I had a fence for the homers.

        Pretty fun...we had some amazing batting averages...Plus you can throw some amazing curve balls...IIC
