That were market related? Seems like lately there are more that are not.

      I agree

      Dave,
I agree with you. I want to read about stocks that may make a move by which we can all profit. I put up three posts on Hot Pick of the Day that were about stocks that look bullish, but then again, I was gone all day and didn't even check the markets out. As for my tastes, I really like the TA or even FA that would help me make a plan or educate me to play more profitably. So I think your post is well taken.

By the way, I enjoy life when I learn something or make money, too

Webs, are you suggesting that beating the market isn't enjoyable? If that's the case you're posting in the wrong place! <g>

Maybe that's why Webs has been 2x at the millionaires???

Anyway Dave...Even though I quit 6 forums a couple of months ago I am still in 5 and I'll tell ya...there's not much there since the 2nd week of May...But IMO it is because so many lost big time and they gave up...It always happens.

But what most don't realize, although I'm sure you do...Is that the market cycles...I've been thru it all...I am not worried at all...I lost a lot of my profits the last 6 weeks...But I'm still green YTD and I still plan on this being at least a pretty decent year for me.

In conclusion...Many leave because they get hit hard and give up...Others like me post a bunch of nonsense like at Homer's Thread for entertainment purposes...Hopefully most sift out the BS and actually read the important stuff that some, like you, post...It is really not that bad if you go with the flow...But you already know that...Too bad many don't...Best, Doug(IIC)

Dave your are right about not posting enough stocks, but we have not had many good market days lately unless you short stocks.

I don't have a lot of time right now at this point in my life to waste it
on silly posts. On the other hand I enjoy reading the arguments and
joking, etc. It says a lot about the person(s), especially since most here have never met.

I try to share whatever I run across, and I learn a lot from others
when they explain what they are doing. I learn at least one thing every day at this site. I think MrMarket is the best. Soon I will have more time, and then things will change.

My favorite number is 21 <g>.

My casino host called this afternoon and said we're getting a two-bedroom suite. Only need one bedroom but I guess this way there's another room in case I need to change my mind about something<g>.

Since nobody here is talking stocks anyway . . . .

Well, this thread is just like all the others: nobody talking stocks.
