I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

If I read that right Victoria Day was officially celebrated for the first time May24th, 1952. That's the birthday of my Queen (wife) Elizabeth !

Nope..."The holiday, which celebrates the birth of Queen Victoria on May 24, 1819, has long been known colloquially as the "May Two-Four" weekend. It was declared a holiday in 1845, but officially named Victoria Day in 1901, the year she died. " (Right around the time I was born. LOL)
Well, I'm going to celebrate on the 24th no matter what day of the month it falls on. Victoria Day is celebrated, by a federal ruling in 1952, on the Monday preceding May 25. Since May 25 is in fact a Monday this year, the holiday weekend is the one before.

That wasn't my quote but from the article you posted. I don't know why it came out without quotation marks or reference to the article.

Set my all time record for strawberries. Picked the 66th quart of the season today. Previous record 59 quarts. Last year on this date had only 20.75 quarts. I'm getting fat eating strawberry pie with cool whip every day.
Phoenix, Nice song. I'm very familiar with the tune. Maybe a regional thing. Used to listen to it on a Canadian station. Windsor, Ontario I think. Singer is Hope Sandoval.
