Who would like to start their own thread??

It's a good way to build a track record and build a following. If anyone wants to step up, let me know and I'll get you started.

I was curious about the name Diogenes. Was it taken for some admiration of Diogenes of Sinope?

That is correct ski.
I actually stumbled across the name in a Sherlock Holmes story in which Holmes’s brother was at the Diogenes Club running all of England; from what I recall, the club had some great rules etc. So, I did a bit of research into who this Diogenes fellow was, or thought to have been and the rest became a “tag.”
However, one fellow, on an aviation site, thought it was taken from the French World War 1 and 2 ace fighter group “les Cigognes (the storks).”

Rather than cluttering your awesome forum with several different threads which I have already started, maybe I should just combine them into one big, giant, super, totally cool, and $$$profitable$$$ thread. Of course, the name of such and the introduction will be for your discretion.

Or maybe I should keep all of my ideas and threads separate??? What is the consensus here? This place is cozy, I think I'll call it home for now.
