Guest repliedthe yankees are definately far from out of it. Baseball is a game of bad luck often times and they're just getting their share of it early on. I bet that by the end of August they'll be neck and neck with Boston. They've got that japanese pitcher who smoked the sox a while back...he's down in the minors getting fine tuned but you can be sure he'll be back and in top form soon enough.

So far, so good.Originally posted by Tatnic View Post...going into the bottom of the 2nd. That new pitcher for the Sox is smokin'!
Lets enjoy it while it lasts...because it may not
But if they can stay relatively healthy, unlike last year, they can coast into the world series.
Looking at the Yanks starters for this series, Wang, Mike can't think of his last name this instant and Pettit, will the Yanks stay down all year?
Mussina.

Wonder how Baltimore's starting pitcher felt about it.Originally posted by Tatnic View Post...down 5-0, no friggen chance, right? I went back to my table and ordered a beer and some fried clams. Today I open the paper and see that they won it 6-5!!! What a whacky finish that was....I think the Red Sox have reversed that curse and given it to the Yankees. But we won't know that for the next few decades.

Do you have vertigo? There are some simple exercises to cure this.Originally posted by billyjoe View PostLouetta,
Swimming being one of the only exercises I can do, I'm at the pool at least 5 days a week walking in water etc. for 40 minutes each day. I'd like to do laps and can physically, but I get so dizzy it's like sea sickness. Would you know of anything that might help? Have tried dramamine and similar medicines with no success. Am trying ginger pills but they don't seem to help either. Thanks for any advice.
