Rev Shark also sold SWHC today. I'm playing PTSI, which I bought Monday between 24.25 and 24.35.

I don't have a guess why you're going there, but I have a cousin there. I haven't been to Huntington in a few years, but there was a fantastic Mexican restaurant I went to there, better than anything they have in Roanoke, for sure. If it's still there, and if you like Mexican food, you should check it out. It's called Chilli Willy's. (I'm not sure of the spelling; try different variations, like Chile Willie's, et al.)

I'd hijack your thread, but I'm not posting enough on my own thread.

          What about SIRI? Anyone?

I had the Texas Chili. It's really good- no beans. I had fish tacos (grilled Mahi Mahi) for the first time, ever. Not bad, and certainly filling. They are having a very large chili contest / festival this weekend. The winners go on to the next round. I love spicy hot chili!

I don't know about the spelling, but it is located on 4th Street near the Marshal campus. The waitress was pretty cute and invited me back next time I'm in town

Close- Special Metals. They were recently bought by PCP. They make high performance alloys for the aerospace industry.

I did pass by Steel of West Virginia, however.

I had to drive through monsoon-like rain on the way there and had several doses of adrenaline as I hydroplaned on rte. 2.

                        NASDAQ warning us?

I don't like the looks of Friday. It seems that the Nasdaq wanted to go higher in the morning, but a nearly balanced mix of buying and selling made the value slip throughout the day. It opened strong, closed weak, but still closed higher than the previous day- all this on higher than average volume. To me, that means to get defensive, and to take extra caution on buying... Here's what I am looking at:

I agree with you that some consolidation is needed from here. Here is Briefing.com's "The Technical Take" says about it. I'll need to take up two posts as I don't want it going wide on me.

Here is the remaining part. Overall I think we are in an uptrend through the 3rd qtr. but it needs consolidations along the way.
You should be able to judge your trades inbetween the ups and downs if you follow the trending methods and honor your stops.
What I like about these guys is they give alot of info on sector strength and weakness. I like to look for stocks in the sectors that are the ones to be in.

                              Decent read, Ski.

I use marketwatch's sector watch website for finding sector movements: THIS IS THE LINK

Oil and Natural Gas will have to rebound sometime and I am patiently waiting for that to happen. I'm compiling a watchlist in this group because I think there will be a lot of action (up and down, but mostly down) in the coming months.

The market put in a strong positive weekly performance. The volume picked up quite a bit and increased buying has pushed the indices higher than recent resistance levels. These are the levels in the major indices to watch:

                                Nasdaq- 2350
