I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. I've been doing some searching around the internet to learn what others are doing regarding TA. AlphaTrends has a video-blog on YouTube. This guy, Thermal, has a decent approach to TA if anyone is interested. It is updated frequently, so you'll get a great idea of how to take psychology out of trading. I think this guy takes a refreshing no nonsense approach to trading. He reviews the broad market and individual stocks
Also, I track the following symbols each day in a Yahoo! portfolio. This is the Peanuts Steel Index (PSI)
AKS AP ATI CECE CGA CHAP CLF CMC CRS FRD GGB GNA HSVLY IIIN IPS KYCN.OB MEA MT NSS NUE NWPX NX OS PCP PKX RIO ROCK RS SCHN SGG SHLO SID SIM STLD STTX TKR TONS TS TXI USAP WOR WPSC X ZEUS
If you keep the portfolio as well, it will keep you up to date on the news within the industry.
The PSI should see a healthy increase in value today as news of the steel industry consolidation continues with higher and higher offers for the same companies... LINK
The tickers in questions today are: SID CGA and X (who some thought would be a bidder on Tata)
TTM is not at issue, here.

Peanuts, What's going on with VIFL? Up .37 in the pre-market on 150,000 shares trades already. Do you own it?
It is a play on the Taco Bell fiasco. I do not follow the stock or company- I own no shares. Not sure why it is acting crazily this morning.
I only found it because it made a screen of mine that scans for volume run-ups. It has limited success, but the action in the stocks which fit the screen is sometimes unreal... they are hard calls to make. I'll be watching it today. Thanks for the heads-up

The other positions are doing OK. TWIN needs to shape up, or I will ship it out, and AP is scaring the heck out of me Not sure what is holding this from making new highs...

It looks like it might. I've got it on my watchlist, now, and I will let you know when my ST indicators turn positive. Obviously, for now, things look bad, but a little volume buying and this could find traction. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, and for that, I offer DCAI to you for your viewing pleasure.
