What is a Bradley Turn?

As far as a 4 year cycle low being widely pulicized, could you include a link. I haven't heard about this, yet. Same thing with El Nino...

Bradley is an astrological market timing thing...I know, it sounds like snake oil but its been right enough not to discount it entirely. The next 2 turn dates are Oct 11 and then NOv 28. The last one was Sept 15. Its calle dthe bradley siderograph if you want to google it.

I don't have a link on the 4 yr cycle low but I've seen it mentioned on CNBC as well as Trading Markets and I believe its a fairly common to many technicians. The most prominent one I know of who talks about this is Dr. Nenner..I'm sure you can google him and get a summary.

El Nino is supposedly responsible for the very weak hurricane season and is caused by warming in the Pacific Ocean, which in turn disrupts the Jet stream to the point that it greatly reduces the occurance of hurricanes in the Atlantic. But the bad thing is that it produces severe weather in the pacific, droughts in southeast asia and if you'll recall it did affect us the last time it occured. So instead of severe weather in the gulf and Atlantic, we get it from the pacific, or at least the west coast gets the brunt of it. It can also affect temperature patterns and thus this winter is expected to be warmer than average, but with severe weather thrown in.

We're going to have another El Nino? Who told you, a weatherman? They get paid to basically throw darts... (Right, RL?)

I think the markets rely more on the financial condition of the economy more than it does any kind of astrological cycle. A correlation may be present under some parameters, but I would bet that the results can be as easily manipulated as different types of TA can be used to skew indicators in stock charts.

Now, the "4 year cycle low"- I'd like to see what you are talking about, before I'd make a comment. Can you find a link so that we are on the same page? Thanks

Just put your cursor over the stars and it will tell you the score and how many have voted...If you are over 3.50 it will show 4 stars. In Peanut's case you said you gave him a 5...I only saw 2 votes with an average of 3.00 so then I knew the other vote was a 1.

But now he has 5 votes for a 3.40 score. That means 2 more people voted ... Their votes had to be either 5/1, 4/2 or 3/3 because when he only had 3 votes and a 3.67 score the total vote pts had to be 11 (3.67 x 3 = 11)...With 5 votes and a 3.40 score the total has to be 17...IIC

I think that voting thing is a pile of ****ing horseshit. There's alot of mediocre drivel, that's not even related to stocks, that gets posted here that isn't worth the time it takes to read it. It's beginning to make me wonder if it is even worth it to take the time to try and post anything that may be worthwhile and enlightening.
