Another strong performance put in by the major indices this past week. The Nasdaq looks like it wants to catch up to the DOW and S&P 500. The DOW leadership is surprising and may be an indication of the type of companies to keep an eye on for continued strength in coming months. Friday showed a little weakness, so in the short term, we may witness a slight correction and a switch of investor interest to different sectors. Natural Gas may recover some recent losses with the first major cold front to come down from Canada and forecasted to hit the mid west early in the week, and reach as far south as the Ohio River valley.

That looks to be a great call on SWHC short. Did you make the play? You would have had to catch it right out of the gate as it started dropping right at the open. Nice call. I still like it to the long side after this consolidation is overwith.

            Peanut and Webs,
If ASVI has an upside earnings surprise and makes a big jump, will you sell at the end of that day, right after the market opens, or will you wait?

I would first consult the VTP.

Most likely, I would trim the position. But, it all depends on the size of the move that it makes, and the reaction afterwards.

                Thanks, Ski

I did not enter a short position with SWHC at the open, though I wish I would have. I looked for a good entry throughout the day, but never found one. Instead of shorting this, I decided to short AMKR at the end of the day. It made my watchlist last week as a long, and now I think that today's move won't hold for long. We'll see how it works out, but I'm not looking for too much.

Got a nice pullback today. Ended up right where I would have liked to see it. I would possibly be lurking for an entry tomorrow on the long side tomorrow.

ASVI is showing signs of the breakout from the 2 month long base on strong volume. Currently, shares are being offered at $15.65 and I think that is a bargain compared to what you'll have to pay for the same shares in a few weeks.

I finally sold the majority of my NGA position today. The volume dried up, and I think I be able to re-buy later, at a cheaper price.

I bought a crapload of TGC... I mean, alot.... really.... maybe too much!

The short in SWHC is looking OK, if we break the support at $13.30, I might add to the short position.

Even though SWHC is #2 in the IIC 100...I would really like to see a p/b into the 10's...IIC
