Hijack This Thread
I didn't want to start a new thread for my ramblings and I enjoy seeing threads hijacked so anyone can take this one.
I'm trying to keep my stock/retirement fund equity vs. home equity loan balance at a 8 :1 ratio. This is getting hard to do will the rate hikes. Probably will go to a refinance at fixed approx. 6.375% . If I ever get a real job again that might help.
Closing costs really burn me up. There appears to be no way around it without a hidden fee somewhere. Anyone else in a similar situation ? One good month in the market would help immensely.
