    Call The Nasdaq Contest

Think you know where the Naz Composite will close on the last trading day of the year?

Well...Even if you don't...You can take a guess at it.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 who come closest to the actual close courtesy of IIC.

Don't not enter because you will be embarrassed if you are way off...that's no excuse. It is more for fun than anything else.

    RULES:

    1) The close as indicated on Nasdaq.com will be used

    2) Your entry must be at least 5 points away from any previous entries posted.

    3) The deadline for entries is Tuesday September 19th at 10:00pm EDT...no exceptions.

    4) Once you have posted your entry you cannot edit it. It is carved in stone once you click the SUBMIT button.

So join in...it's only for fun...And you just might win a FREE prize...Doug(IIC)

      Rob's Guess

Doug, I like your optimism, and I really hope you're right, but I think it will be more like 2,500.

Doug, Thanks for letting me use the crystal ball. It told me that you were close, but 2715 is more like it.

              These optimists!

              2715? 2613? Optimistic I think. But who's to say?

Let's see . . . somebody has to lose this contest; it might as well be me . . . .

Hey, Doug: what's the prize? Let me guess: a 15 passenger van? I could use one to haul church people around. Chevy or GMC, of course. I need something that will hold the road and not rollover. Those head massaging Fords and Dodges reduce church attendance.

In that case, I'd better win this thing. According to my calculations, the $COMP should be about 2100 even on January 1, 2007.

Blue is a very nice color.

Sorry about that. And I can't edit it, either.

Doug started the contest with a figure rounded to the hundredths. So
I figured it was fine to do the same -- the thread starter rules!

Rob...I was stuck between 2631.00 and 2631.10 so I split the difference
