5:09, disc 1- Trevor tosses a poor unfortunate soul like he was throwing a sack of potatos- making a block that is crucial to the score! I want to put him on my fantasy football team.

The best part about the whole film is the sportsmanship that Trevor shows. Do not ever let him forget that this aspect can be just as important as performing well. I'm sure he's a great kid, and I know he's one heck of a fullback!

I was a lineman..and I make Trevor do pushups when he gets tackled. He's NEVER supposed to go down.

One of the blocks was a de-cleater !

          Mr Market,
You son looks pretty good, especially when they run to the strong side.
I catch the John Riggins talk show every day on the ride home from work, down here in dixie, amusing but not as good as Mike and the Mad Dog.
Any predictions on the # of touch downs for your son this season ?
17 could be a good number.

I tell him that each pancake block is worth a cheesesteak...so he likes those more than the TD's. How's your boy's hockey team doing??

              Cheese Steaks for goals !!!

              Mr. Market,
Cheese steaks for every goal would make my son HUGE !! I guess I would owe him 35 for this past summer and 3 more already for this season.

Pete Rose was the best baseball player of all time. He refused to play for the dodgers.

Pete Rose - best of all time? you've got to be kidding

He was a singles hitter with, granted, a non-stop motor. One-dimensional. He was psychologically ruined by his father, he's a mess.

                              Nothing wrong with hitting singles....

Success in business (and life in general) is a series of base hits, not home runs....

I like Pete Rose as a real life example of how difficult it is to stay "on top" once you've gotten there.... He made mistakes that cost him dearly.... Question is: Did he learn from his mistakes? Maybe.... Maybe not. But whatever has happened to Old "Charlie Hustle" is his fault, not his fathers....
