AMLN is one of the ten highest priced stocks on the exchanges. Price is more than 10x sales! So a lot of emotion has been put into this one. It probably should return to the upper $20 range before too much longer. One thing I like about it is the rich option chain.

Yup, AMLN looks pretty sick these days on the charts. Now what are your indicators--should you decide to disclose them--are telling you that AMLN topped out about 9/7? I'd be interested to read about it here.

Here is one I actually do use a little bit...Not that they are always right...And oftentimes I don't agree with them...But they do give you a short term, intermediate term and long term numerically based opinion based on technicals.

Free stock screener with trend scores, support & resistance, and RSI/MACD signals across 100K+ stocks. Sign up free — no credit card.

The only thing I don't like is the popup that comes up when you first enter the site.

I have been in contact with the owner in the past...seems like a nice fellow. I believe he had plans to develop it into a paid site a couple years ago...but it is still free...He started a forum too, but it never really caught on.

Take a look around...For ratings you can click BULLISH or BEARISH TECHNICAL ANALYSIS SCREENS at the top of the home page...then go from there by clicking what you want. They also have a free screener where you can choose from a variety of indicators...make sure you click US Only unless you also want Canadian stocks.

Just kidding...Billy asked for a free rating site so I gave him one...I doubt that it is worthwhile though...But I guess Peanut's test will shed some light...Doug(IIC)

I would be very careful with that Top 50 list. I just looked at the 52-wk charts for the first 7 or 8, and I don't see much in common among them as to technical indicator readings. I had been trading XCO for over a week and it just tanked a couple of days ago to touch its 50DMA, so I thought maybe that was what this site is looking for, but as you look at the other charts, that's not it at all.

Also be aware of distinguishing those stocks with avg daily volume > or < 100K per day. Makes a big difference.

    Peanuts,
This will take some of the fun and all of the work out of finding those above 51. Just click on the flashing top 50 and it gives you the best rated 50 in 3 different price categories. I just noticed this feature.
