I wouldn't say the TA folks are all wrong about AXR. If you go back and read my post on it, I said that AXR would make 15% short before it made 15% long. At the time of my post, AXR was $49.11. 15% of $49.11 is $7.37, or a share price (short) of $41.74. I also said that the PnF said AXR had a target of $30, and AXR made it down only to $34.55, but still that is a 30% haircut before it made any gains whatsoever. You can read my post on AXR here

MIKR just ran across one of my scans yesterday. Today it had a nice pop. But yup, it hasn't hit a 15% gain yet.

Remember: MM himself was wrong. Two of the five hit 15% before AXR did. And I suppose that some of the top 200 stocks hit 15% before AXR. My point: TA is not all wrong. Just part wrong like FA is

You are huge ! Of course I didn't look for the downside, only the final result. Imagine if you had shorted AXR then went long at the bottom. A 30% gain on the downside another gain of 46% on the upside. Sorry I rattled your chain, but if I hadn't I never would have seen the great short play. Keep up the great work.

The Tigers: no momentum now. Burned up their arms trying to hold off the Twins and the White Sox. Forget 'em.

Same thing happened last year. The Yanks and BoSox burned themselves out just trying to make the playoffs. The White Sox skated right past them in the playoffs.

I like the Tigers. But I think the A's and Yanks will go to the final round, and after that . . . probably Yanks win, but it would be nice to see the A's in it.

Not quite so huge.

Mr. Market is truly huge making 15% on a real estate stock in Oct.'06 , unbelievable. Not to rub it in but the TA'ers were almost 100% wrong if you look back at their analyzation of the top 5. What would have happened had you picked any of the Independence Day Top 5 , you ask ?
