    A local broker that gave reports to our hometown radio station always mentioned the "physical year". She reported for years before changing.

    Quite a few years ago, a stockbroker from a local office did the closing prices on a popular AM radio station. He always quoted the Dow like this:

    "The Dow Jones was up ten dollars and 15 cents" if the close was +10.15.

    Of course people blindly followed his lead, and there was an outbreak of this type of quoting for a while. Very funny.

    On September 19, 2006, the NASDAQ closed at 2222.370. The End of Year 2006 closing value was 2425.570. 12 of 13 entries predicted an EOY close higher than that of 9/19. This group has a pretty good crystal ball.

    What will be the closing price of the NASDAQ on the last trading day of March 2007?

    All entries must be in by January 12th, 2007, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time. How will the MrMarket board do in the first quarter?

    No prizes, just the knowledge that you beat the rest of the players entering, and completely annihilated those who sat back and didn’t enter.
