I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. This week will be the 4th time it's been an S8 pick. It's +50% from May 29 list, +7% from July 2 list, and was eliminated -4% from April 23 list. G'luck all.
Pretty ugly chart these days. Yeah, I am talking about AOB, not Spike's 8. Chart kinda reminds me of an old woman in curlers. Not pretty to say the least. Anyway, we've got a busted support, a descending triangle, and that old devil himself, the "death cross." Price target is a curvacious $5. Fools take a long here where angels dare not tread. So it looks like BillyJoe's is right: I'm in love. I'll take AOB short, please.
I am glad you like it! MICC has an r-squared score of .9777, which is tolerably HUGE. I don't know why I didn't pick it up in July (well, it didn't pass the screens , obviously). It had a R2 of .846 then, still pretty decent. I bought two stocks around July (for my Marketocracy portfolio): June 26 I bought GRMN at 49.95 (split adjusted), and July 31 I bought IBCA, sold March 26 for a 35% loss and replaced by GNK, bought at 33.32. So I didn't do too badly, but not as stellar as MICC.

Karel
You kinda shocked me dropping CHAP like you did. I thought you and Jiesen ("I'll take AMLN long, please) would never give up your babies. Well anyway, I hope you make a lot of $$$$ with the real thing. I'd like to win POTW

Well, there is a takeover bid a few percent over where CHAP now is. I thought it time to leave. And I think I am one of the five POTW contestants who can boast of a more than 10% gain overall.

10% gain for the entire year? That's pretty good . . . where are those stats posted?
I'll go with ESEA long. Seaborne transportation stocks have been good the last few weeks. Lets see if it continues.
The triple top breakout looks nice . . . as long as it holds above $16, I'm a bull on it. Friday's $16.10 touch was the smart entry here, I think. Has about an $18.50 target.
