Incidentally, If I had sold on Tuesday morning (and I seriously considered it) I think my score woulda been 27.40% or something like that. Oh well. It's another week.—Rob

Long PCU
Congratulations to the top 3, and to Rob, who is sticking to his plan, which even seems to pan out. If he survives the roller-coaster ride, that is.
I am taking my leave of MICC, both in my Marketocracy fund and with my real money. My pick this week (and the next and the next, et cetera, until I tire of it) will be PCU, and not its replacement FWLT, as PCU makes my Top 3 again and again. This week I would have preferred it over FWLT for my Marketocracy fund, but I already own it there. I'll also buy PCU with real money.

I am expecting some impulsive price behavior across all equities this week. The LNN speculation was based on fundamental qualities combined with a technical opportunity. Psychology played no part in my decision. I have a fairly good idea that the markets may not trade on either technicals or fundamentals in the coming days, so therefore I plan on avoiding the markets until psychology no longer plays such an influential role.
PCU has been making my fundamental-based screens over the last 8 months. The last time it appeared on any of my screens was August 4th, however, and I haven't seen it appear since. If you don't mind me asking, why you are focusing on PCU at the moment?Hide not your talents.

Well, why PCU? We must be using different screens! PCU made the Top 3 three times out of the last five weeks, and 5 times out of the last 8 times I ran the screens. I use my approximation of $$$Mr.Market$$$ original procedure, and a lazy version of it, alternating every week. PCU just looks good. That it makes the screens (and tops them) shows momentum with more or less solid fundamentals. PCU looked just a bit more solid than FWLT and as there wasn't much between them otherwise (with the limited sources I use), I choose PCU with my real money. But I also would have been happy to pick FWLT.
