Rob, As you know I've picked SSTR for the last 3 weeks. First week I was down 20%, last week was a up, an this week way up. HMMMMM. I first notice the stock from a email, from Smartselected.com. The first week I pick the stock SSTR gapped up and profits were taken. I knew the stock was reporting earnings after market close on thursday the 27th. It was up over 25% in after hours trading.I was badly needing uplift becase I was in last place in POTW standing Thursday Night. I knew from reading the report that this video gaming stock had the power. They had Top 10 seller in Europe for the last 11 weeks. The company went from a loss of 2.4 million last year to 19.8 gain this year. The price had to rise. I believe it will double from here.

Sirtuck, that is just amazing. It is certainly a record. I know that it is a record for this year in the POTW, and I don't ever remember seeing such a performance in any other contest. Nice pick, and nice timing!!! You have also vaulted yourself to 4th place in the yearly standings. Congrats!

Keep playing! Unfortunately, you didn't start at the beginning of the year. If you had, you would have begun with $1000, but 3% is deducted for each week that you do not play, so you had 37 consecutive weeks of a 3% loss, and only started with $324.01. You have 13 weeks to get to the #1 spot. If you continue to acheive your average rate of 13.995%, you can possibly end the year with a balance of $1,778.58 when the balance is compounded each week.
