Hello Spike hope the holidays are being good for you. I see you chose MELI for the contest this week, It has been showing up on my dart board the last three weeks and I hit It with my dart one of the weeks but It did not make a move. Up that Is but I have a good feeling about It. What Is your take on It?

Well...you won't find it on the IBD 100.

However, it is # 20 on the IIC 100 this week.

Week 52, Day 3—“A Shocking Turn of Events”

Sorry ladies and gents; I just realized that I have
forgotten to include the 3 indicies on the scorecard
this week. That will be fixed tomorrow.

              Hi RL.

I think MELI is a no-brainer hold fer anyone fortunate enough to have bought in the low 60's. Reckon it's a bit of a chase at current levels for anyone considering a good r/r and TA-based entry, although it is in a monthly impulse 3 up, and aggressive entries might have good potential to reward too. Just a matter of how much fuel is left in the momo tank. I'm expecting follow-thru from today's action, but if I were entering these levels I'd be keeping a tight leash on it. Big difference between green hope and aggressive risk in my book.

I think 80.35 is very doable for it short-term in days ahead....probably over 100 in weeks/months ahead.

G'luck with it! And Happy New Year!

Ray...I'd agree w/ Spike...It probably is a good hold...If I had bot it I'd probably have trimmed some off today. Be careful chasing

At the same time, I don't want to do it on another site, because I have a lot of respect for Ernie and Karel. Perhaps I won't do it at all. Is there someone willing to keep the score here next year? That would be the best solution as far as I'm concerned.
Rob, whatever you decide to do, please let us know. If you decide to continue to do a great job with the scorekeeping on Ernie's site, or take it to your own, I'll be a participant in the war, I mean, fun. Thanks for all that you've been doing. I know how it can be at times, but in the end, it's all worth it- even if we are a bunch of knuckle dragging heathens. I really appreciate all that you've done so far, and I hope you'll keep it up!

I can barely keep up with updating the yearly standings anymore, so I can't do the daily scorekeeping... unless my body successfully completes 100% cytokinesis, in which case the POTW would be run by a souless automaton. And even a Vulcan has more personality than that

Hey, speaking of Vulcans.... Webs, are you trying to win the yearly contest in the last week? Just 2 days left, dude. Good to see you in the mix!

If I could legally be in the contest this week, I would be long AA, but since I can't, I will illegally take SYNL long instead

                            MELI—“The Rich Get Richer”

It looks like Spike's MELI is setting up for a tremendous jump this morning, as if 24.05% isn't enough already. Congrats on a great pick, Spike.

POTW, 2008—“Going Out On A Limb”

If anyone is interested in playing this contest for 2008, then it will be held at this web site.

I am in no way attempting to draw traffic away from this fine message board. I just get tired of fighting about content. So it seems the logical thing to do.

I will continue to contribute here from time to time, but as you know I am not the most prolific poster.

As for the contest board, maybe it'll fly, and maybe it won't. It's just there, and it will live or die of its own momentum.

(If it dies I'll just have to look at the bright side: more free time for Rob!)
