I have 34 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Yes. Not nearly as bad as others I've seen, but yes.
You would put feminine beauty on a par with profane and vulgar language? Surely you jest. If a person cannot appreciate physical beauty without lust, then that is a problem he or she needs to work on.
I have a deep, negative, visceral reaction when people callously and inconsiderately use foul street language in public. I hate it, and I refuse to condone it, implicitly or otherwise. What else can I say?
Nor would I expect you to. And neither is there any way in creation that I will lower my standards. Do you expect me to?
Rob, I find it hard to imagine anyone naive enough not to appreciate what I was saying. Maybe everyone doesn't think 100% that way but it is suggestive all the same regardless of what reasoning you place it there. As far as your standards I feel that everyone is entitled to their standards and to set them as lofty as they want. They are the only ones who have to live with them. I wouldn't ask, want, or expect you to lower yours. I wouldn't lower mine for sure.
Are the pictures of women, which I thoroughly enjoy, that you post with the daily scorecards any different in what they suggest or goes on in the mind of most men and some womens fantasies when they view them.

I just don't see the language here as so severe that it would make you feel that way.

. . . but there is no way in creation that I would follow you to another site or leave Ernie's site to go to another site just to play in this contest regardless of who it is going to be run by.

Unless he changes his mind Rob will simply stick with IMCL longfor this final week of the year.
Today I believe the markets close at 1:00 p.m. EST, and they will reopen Wednesday morning at 9:30.
As for the POTW next year, I'm conflicted. I'd like to keep doing it, but I think I'd like to try it on a different site, where I can maintain stricter control over the language, etc. (I've already set it up but haven't given the url to anyone.) At the same time, I don't want to do it on another site, because I have a lot of respect for Ernie and Karel. Perhaps I won't do it at all. Is there someone willing to keep the score here next year? That would be the best solution as far as I'm concerned.
Rob, You have been the only thing that has kept the POTW together and running. You deserve all of our thanks and respect for the work you do with it. My question is this? Do you really feel that there is a foul language problem here. I hardly ever see anything off color even mildly. Are the pictures of women, which I thoroughly enjoy, that you post with the daily scorecards any different in what they suggest or goes on in the mind of most men and some womens fantasies when they view them. I just don't see the language here as so severe that it would make you feel that way. I am also glad to see Websman back in the POTW this week. Hopefully he'll continue on and actually continue with some posts. I always enjoy his particular perverted sense of humor and wit. I would be a hypocrite if I said that I didn't enjoy and miss the interaction that goes on here. I like to participate in it and with my posts hope that someone is also making some money off of what I have to contribute. But the escense of my returning was the return to posting my charts over at StockCharts Public charts list. I need and want the exposure to my charts in the hope that I may develope some degree of a following for future purposes and my own benefit. I personally would miss you and the work you do for all of us but there is no way in creation that I would follow you to another site or leave Ernie's site to go to another site just to play in this contest regardless of who it is going to be run by. I would also implore everyone of us who participate here to make a case for not using any type of cursing or foul language for whatever reasoning. It doesn't make your trades any better and there are only about a million other adjectives that could be used. It's something that you have to work at on a regular basis. Personally my mouth is probably fouler than most here but when here I work at not speaking the way I normally do out there in the business world. My feelings are that we should all do that. Who knows it just might carry over into our real daily lives. Couldn't hurt right.
