It takes about an hour to do the scorecard, write-up, yearly standings update, and yearly chart update on a normal week. I've got some extra work to do this week as I have to add some players, conclude the first quarter, set-up the second, and give a quarterly write-up.

I just didn't have the time to do it all yesterday, so I had hoped I could do it this weekend for everyone. Sorry to keep you on the edge of your seat, Doug- but I'll give you a secret now- you didn't win this week.

        The work begins now.

            Week 13, last day

Week 13 - House of Horrors
Day 5 - Run for your lives!

The creeking, the shrieking, the laundry and showers, the models and wine, glowing green walls and dissapearing people should have been forewarnings for the players to find the fastest way out of the house before the beast is unleashed:

Let's see what happens when the careless reap what they have sewn:

After peanuts and his girlfriend walked out for some privacy, they were met by the beast in the midst of a passionate embrace. She began screaming, and peanuts moaned as his brains were being sucked from his head. The other players rolled their eyes, assuming something else was happening.

The oracle, RL, began to gather everyone that would listen to him. He warned of terrible things to come, and the only way to save themselves were to follow in his footsteps to the door of light. Some listened, but some chose to ignore his warnings and they continued to frolic in the conservency's garden. Scifos, IIC, Lyehopper, and Peter Hansen had little time to regret before they succumbed to the beast of the house. Billyjoe and louetta held each other closely as the beast approached. Louetta confessed that she snuffed out Gatorman in the begginning because a voice told her to. They died slow painful deaths and their screams were heard by RL's followers. The followers picked up the pace.

Riverbabe joined the followers as she heard them rush past the place where she was hiding. She said that she saw the beast, but he spared her because she was clean. They ran even faster, following a green trail to the door of light.

On their way to the door, skiracer heard a voice saying to come closer. He did, and the voice began to whisper to him. Many riches would be bestowed upon him and he would live an eternal life if he would tell the beast where the followers were going. He refused at first, but then the voice promised him power over the many, and peanut's girlfriend. He told the voice about the door of light, and then there was a sudden clap of thunder, and skiracer fell to the floor, lifeless.

Now the followers were scared, but Rob told them about the light, and they were comforted in his words. They followed the green trail and saw the door. Freedom was theirs! But then the beast appeared, and they huddled together.

He said in a hissing voice, "This house is mine, and you are in it. Now you are mine and will abide by my rule"

Karel yelled, "your house is fragile, and we are many. You may have the power of this dark house, but we have the power of light"

And with those words, Websman burst through the door of light and smiled upon the followers. He destroyed the beast, and the remaining players were all saved. He was hoisted above their shoulders and remains to this day, the keeper of the light.
